Basic I Cover Story:
Heavy
infrastructure constructions have been going on in
Zamboanga City notably in the Zamboanga Economic
Zone at San Ramon and at the Regional Agricultural
and Industrial Center at Ayala, west of the city.
The construction boom explains the need for the
expansion of the seaport as well as the airport,
including their possible transfer to the east at
the Sangali Fishing Complex or at the Mercedes –
Talabaan area. The 100-megawatt power plant is now
in place in Sangali and ready to serve beyond the
boundaries of the Free Port City to venture into
the BIMP-EAGA Polygon. (Photos
